I post this now because I just had to do a major revision--changing one name in the text--because a character showed up in a scene where he wasn't supposed to be present. Ach! But now it's flawless until another reader finds another error. Maybe you'll be the next one!

I wrote a novel last November, Emrys, as part of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month... it's on the web). I have not showed it to anyone, but I do love the title: Mermaid Prayers. It's a coming of age story of a woman who--!-- ends up a minister.
I am interested in this genre Emrys. If I am able to get the book and read it I would love to talk about it, the process and everything else.

How cool it is that you have written a book - when do you find the time? I can't say I am big on fantasy fiction, however I am big on reading anything written by friends. And I could use an escape right about now!
I have not written much fiction - but perhaps I can write one of those "before I read the book" reviews!

I love the title of your novel. How whimsical! If you ever decide you want to show it to someone, I promise I'd be encouraging and kind. Like practically everyone I know I have an unfinished story or two hanging around and I have great admiration for anyone who actually finishes one!
